‘Winter Musings’ - Wedding Inspiration

I recently took part in a creative day with some other brilliant weddings suppliers, it was a wonderful way to spend a cold winter day and allowed us to have a creative play and experiment with ideas. Our goal was to create some winter wedding inspiration to share. Inspired by winter and its ethereal beauty, frosty mornings, the scent of pine needles and icy lakes shimmering like diamonds. We chose a classic white and green colour palette and put our own stamp on it.

I created a broken arch structure, which I wanted to feel, light, airy and wintery. So I used a mix of foliage foraged from my garden along with gypsophila and limonium. This resulted in a fluffy, romantic backdrop.

I continued the theme with a table runner of mixed foliage and gypsophila which looked really effective, simple yet elegant.

For the bridal bouquet I chose a mix of hellebore, frilly ranunculus and some winter berries. Soft and romantic, with a hint of sparkly lunaria (honesty). The bouquet was finished with complimentary flowing silk ribbons.
